Moderate growth of the labour market in the second quarter of 2015 2015-10-02

The salaried employment has once again slightly increased during the second quarter of 2015, as shown by the statistics of the National Social Security Office. This is the sixth successive increase in a row.

Global view

Compared to the same period in 2014, both the number of jobs (+ 0.9%) and the work volume (+0.4% in full-time equivalents) have increased. The global view is that of a partly improving labour market. The favourable tendency on the labour market is first of all boosted by the commercial services sector with especially the temporary work as driving force.
